KIDZ MUSIC KAMP
JULY 7 – 10, 2008 from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM
The Kidz Music Kamp is a free opportunity for young musicians in our community to learn and play their instrument in a larger group.
A team of music lovers and musicians from the New Apostolic Church and volunteers from our community offer this four days programme for children 7-15 having played their instrument for at least one year. There are workshops for Strings, Reeds, Brass, Recorders and Vocal groups; all the children will also have the opportunity to play together in the orchestra.
Even though the music being played and sung is focused towards young musicians, most of the selection is taken from the classical repertoire.
The music camp will conclude this year again with a benefit concert for Variety - The Children’s Charity on Thursday July 10 at 7:30 PM.
